At Klack, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and store your information when you use our application (“the App”).
We collect the following categories of information:
Name (first and last): Optional, shared with other users as a form of identication
Email Address: Required for account creation and authentication.
Physical Address: Optional (as an event location), shared with other users
Other User Contact Info: BoardGameGeek username (optional)
Photos or Videos: Images captured by your device’s camera for AI analysis (board game recognition)
Other User Content:
Board game collections: Collections stored are based on BoardGameGeek data and may also be edited manually
Polls you create or participate in (titles, game options, votes, comments, and results)
Game night events (titles, dates & times, locations, votes, comments, and results)
User ID: Account ID and authentication tokens
Device ID: Device-level identifiers for app functionality
Crash Data: Crash reports, error messages, and stack traces when the App fails or encounters an unhandled error. We use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to collect and analyze this information.
Performance Data: App launch times, response times, and system performance (where collected by our monitoring tools)
Other Diagnostics: Technical context about errors (for example, app version, build number, device platform, and which screen or modal was open), provided through our error reporting service; server logs, network diagnostics, and other technical metrics
Network Information: We do not intentionally send broad personal information to our error reporting service when privacy settings are enabled. Sentry may receive limited technical metadata necessary to deliver crash reports. See Sentry's privacy policy for details.

Data Not Sent: We do not use session replay, in-app feedback widgets, or broad personal data collection through Sentry. We have disabled default collection of personally identifiable information where configurable in the App.

Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
Portability: Export your data in a standard format
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from communications
Account Deletion: Go to Profile → Delete Account in the app to permanently delete your account immediately. You can also contact us at support@klack-app.com for assistance.
Data Removal: When you delete your account in the app, your personal data is removed immediately, including your profile, game collection, polls, events, votes, and comments.
Confirmation: After in-app deletion, you are signed out and cannot log in with the same credentials unless you register again.

Klack needs camera access to take photos of your board game collection for AI analysis.
NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription:
Klack needs photo library access to select existing photos of your board game collection.
CAMERA: Required for taking photos of game collections

Voluntary: Camera and photo access is completely optional

Our Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to have the information removed.
